For my beloved (Revised 7th March, 2007)

Lord, I thank You for this wonderful person that You have blessed into my life. She is just perfect for me Lord. Cute, beautiful, lovely heart, smart, adorable, she is everything I have ever wanted in a girl. Thanks for all that she is to me, and all the love she has for me. I thank You that You have heard both of our prayers, that she fulfilled all my criterias, and that I fulfilled all her criterias.

I pray that You will bless her with much wonderful and happy moments, gifts and people. Take care of her Lord, wherever she is, and wherever she goes. Send Your greatest and most powerful angels to guard her and protect her Lord. Keep her safe in Your great and mighty arms. I plead the blood of Jesus to cover her. Amen.

Bless her with divine health Lord, and may she never fall sick Lord. Although she is already very beautiful, Lord, I pray that You will help her to maintain it, or become even more beautiful Lord... hahaha... (I'm sure she wants to remain pretty herself... hee hee hee...). Actually I don't mind if she grows fatter or thinner Lord, or if she becomes less pretty or less hair or grows white hair, Lord. I will still love her all the same Lord, if not more, for it is HER I love, not just the looks. She is still the same person that I have fell in love with, over and over again.

When she goes through tough times Lord, I pray that You will strengthen her, and refresh her Lord. May she learn to depend on You more during these times Lord. Grant her extra strength, wisdom and determination to face those challenges Lord. Indeed she shall go through those moments victoriously, and grow stronger with every challenge overcomed, with You by her side as always, Lord. I might not be able to be there for her all the time, Lord, but I hope that you will upgrade my "antennas" to always be able to sense her feelings, especially if she is down, Lord. To be more sensitive to her feelings and needs. If possible, and if it is all up to me, I would want to be there all the time for her Lord, especially the tough ones. I thank You Lord that I am able to be used by You as her "stress therapy" Lord.

I pray that You will grant her extraordinary favour with everyone Lord, including her family members, her friends, her colleagues, her superiors, her patients (and patients' parents!). Amen. I pray also that You will increase her abilities and giftings Lord, in her work, that You shall cause her to excel and do well in all her tasks at work, including those difficult ones. For there is nothing too difficult for You Lord.

Lord, only You know her greatest and deepest needs and desires. May You fulfill all of them Lord, according to Christ's glorious riches. May You multiply and grant her success, in all that she lays her hand on, Lord. Teach me and reveal to me some of her needs and desires Lord, so that I be used by You to fulfill them.

Take good care of all those she cares for, all her family and friends, Lord. She loves them very much, so bless them even through her, Lord. Grant her wisdom and patience in handling all her relationships.

My deepest heart's desire is that may You continue to fill me with Your love Lord, to never stop loving her, with all my heart. May I always bring her much happiness, joy, laughter, fun, peace, security, friendship, love, respect, help, understanding, and may she always be filled to the brim, and overflowing, in her "love tank" Lord.

I pray that when I'm angry, I will not raise my voice at her Lord. Grant me lots of grace and forgiveness, and accept her, even if she is in the wrong. I also wish to be a gentleman at all times to her, so that she will always feel that she is the most special person in the whole world. I pray that when I do not agree with her, I pray that You will give me the grace and gentleness to tell her my opinions and not give her the "silent treatment" Lord.

I pray that You will bless me with lots of creative ideas and thoughts, so that I can always surprise her with lots of wonderful and pleasant surprises Lord. Heheheh....... I ask for that "romantic anointing", even right now, in Jesus' Name. Amen... hahaha.....

And I pray that You will be at the centre of this relationship, Lord, for without You, nothing can hold together for long. I pray that we will be together forever and ever Lord, till death do us apart. May You multiply our time so that 5 minutes becomes 5 hours Lord! Amen!

Thank You once again Lord, for You have brought us together, and blessed us with each other. Thanks for making my greatest dream come true Lord.

In Jesus' most precious and beautiful Name I pray all this.

Amen and Amen!

I'll be back tomorrow!!!

Just seen a nice romantic movie a few hours ago - When Harry Met Sally. Overall, not bad. Nice acting and Meg Ryan just look beautiful as usual.

It was a love story between two people who had been friends for soooooooooo long. Not seven years but a little over 10!!! The best part of the movie came right at the end and I can totally understand it. You know, when you have known someone for ages, and you get the feeling... nah... it's not going to work, we've known each other for so long, etc... well, this movie will show that nothing is impossible, even long-time friends :) Besides, I believe the one you love, your life partner should naturally be your second bestest friend too, after Jesus, of course. Friendship is always the core of a successful marriage. After all:

LOVE = 90% FRIENDSHIP + 9% RESPECT + 1% PASSION

So what's the best part at the end?

It is when Billy Crystal said this to Meg:

I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Me at my Kuching colleague's open house BBQ - 20th Feb

From left: Mary (the host), Hazel, Anna (my HR Director), and char siew.
Jesus, You Are My Sunshine

You are the sunshine of my life,
You can light up my darkest day,
I need Your love to guide me,
When skies are gloomy and gray.

When the sun is shinning brightly,
Birds sing sweetly from high above,
Butterflies flutter in it's warmth,
Like my heart dances with Your love.

Sun rays are living nourishment,
Of God's creations, large and small,
Slowly blossoming budding flowers,
Sprouting seeds into trees so tall.

The sun promises a new tomorrow,
Like my love grows for You each day,
Blooming with sun rays of Your love,
As You guide me along the way.

What happened to REALLY GOOD MOVIES???

I was just browsing through the statistics of the Academy Awards, and there hadn't been a great movie winning lots of awards (6 and above) ever since LOTR III in 2003. And that was truly a great masterpiece, an all-time genius piece of work.

Yeah, I know, you can't really judge a movie by the number of AAs it has won, but, still... don't ya think it speaks of something? Like Titanic, Ben Hur and LOTR III, each winning 11 AAs. Compared with Showgirls and Battlefield Earth, who each won 8 Razzie Awards... hahaha! The worst films ever made. Sheesh... Have anyone seen any of those two movies yet? I, for sure, would not want to waste my time to watch 2 pieces of craps. I know, maybe, just MAYBE, they aren't so bad, give some grace, give some chance, but then... I had my fair share of CRAP movies and I sure hated it when it ended and I go... HUH? WHAT THE? Or even before it ended. Like Basic Instinct 2, which won the Razzie Award for Worst Picture 2006. I "happened" to watch it and it is PURE RUBBISH man... the plot, the acting... it's a pure waste of time. What the tooooooot man!

So, what's happening to the Western movie makers? Even the latest, most AAs movie, The Departed, is a direct copycat of the original Hong Kong movie, Infernal Affairs. Are they running out of new ideas? Hmmm...
But hey, you know something, John Travolta, who is the lead actor in Battlefield Earth is a damn good actor (he was brilliant in Face/Off, Basic, Swordfish, Ladder 49, etc.) and guess what? This year's AA Best Actor, Forest Whitaker is in that Worst Movie of All Time too... hahaha... how ironic!

Luke 15:7

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (NIV)

I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. (NKJV)

(Chinese Union Version (Simplified))

(Japanese Bible)

Yay!!! All heaven rejoices and I rejoice together with you! I am very happy too because this is indeed the year of great harvest and reaping, for this is the Year of Supernatural Bounties!!!

Psalm 65:11 You crown the year with Your bounty, and Your carts overflow with abundance. (NIV)

Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household. (NLT)

2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. (NIV)

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (NIV)

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. (NKJV)
